Capacity building focuses on delivering the mission effectively in the present and future, serving as an investment in the effectiveness and future sustainability of an entity. We strive to elevate your organization to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity, enabling more effective and efficient advancement of your mission into the future. Capacity building, for us, is an ongoing improvement process toward creating a sustainable and effective organization.

Before initiating capacity building work, we conduct an extensive assessment to understand the real need for it. Engaging with stakeholders on capacity development, we value their perspectives. Our process encourages participation from all stakeholders, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for the development outcome and sustainability. We assess pre-existing capacities, identifying areas requiring additional training and prioritization, exploring how capacity building can integrate into local and institutional development strategies. Our capacity development response focuses on four core aspects: leadership, teams, organizations, and constituents. Implementation involves multiple systems at national, local, and institutional levels, accompanied by continual reassessment to adapt to changing situations. We incorporate evaluative indicators to measure the effectiveness of initiated programs.

When we say societal capacity building, we’re referring to strengthening the skills of people and communities, in smaller locations and local grassroots movements, in order to achieve their goals and overcome particular issues that are causing a challenge. True change is brought upon, when the communities are no more dependent on external help to address their challenges and they are self capable to address the issues themselves. We build capacity towards self-sufficiency.
